As a manager, Kevin plays an essential role in keeping our projects moving. His responsibility extends beyond the physical work happening in front of him. He is learning to constantly think ahead: What’s next? What could slow the team down? What questions still need to be asked? What problem can be solved now before it becomes a problem later?
That evolution has been one of Kevin’s greatest accomplishments. He has grown from being someone who could execute the work into someone entrusted with greater responsibility for planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and the performance of the people around him.
Kevin understands that leadership doesn’t require perfection. It requires ownership. He accepts feedback, makes corrections, and continues forward with a determination to become better at what he does.
